Calligram

This calligram project was definitely one of my favorite projects we completed in this class. It is a very personal piece since I included words and phrases that impact me. I gained a deeper understanding of myself while I was completing this project. The background of this piece is a letter I wrote to my future self. It took me quite some time because I couldn’t think of what to say. I enjoyed sitting and wondering where I could and will be in the future. While I have these aspirations no one can ever truly know where I’ll end up. This project took me around 12 hours to complete and I genuinely enjoyed making it. It felt nice, and relieving to get some things out of my own head and onto a canvas.
